Bandai Namco has announced Dragon Ball Project: Multi, a new MOBA based on the iconic anime franchise; here’s how to join the beta.
Dragon Ball Project: Multi is a MOBA reminiscent of games like League of Legends, Dota 2, and Pokemon Unite, but obviously with Dragon Ball characters. Little else has been shared about it at the moment, though it’s confirmed to be in development at Ganbarion. This studio has worked with Bandai Namco many times before on other quirky games based on hit manga and anime IPs, including multiple One Piece games and Dragon Ball Fusions, a 2016 RPG made for the Nintendo 3DS.
Dragon Ball Project: Multi, which is likely a placeholder title, is slated to launch on PC via Steam as well as iOS and Android mobile devices. While there’s no mention of a release date, intrigued Dragon Ball fans can participate in a closed beta session.
How to join the Dragon Ball Project: Multi beta
Players can get into the Dragon Ball Project: Multi beta by signing up on the game’s Steam page.
It appears the Dragon Ball Project: Multi beta is open to anyone. Prospective players only need to request access via the game’s Steam page. The page will be updated to feature a button to request access, similar to what was seen with the Hades 2 technical test. However, the beta will only be available to residents of the following regions:
- Canada
- France
- Germany
- Japan
- South Korea
- Taiwan
- United Kingdom
- United States
Bandai Namco has yet to confirm what content will be available in the beta. If the announcement trailer is anything to go by, though, fans can expect to have access to at least eight playable characters:
- Goku (who can turn Super Saiyan)
- Vegeta
- Krillin
- Piccolo
- Future Trunks
- Android 18
- Majin Buu
- Zamasu
