Soulsborne fans can mark their calendars because there’s now an exact release date and time for the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC.

While FromSoftware’s open-world action game is more than two years old now, it remains at the front of video game industry discourse. Whether it’s the biggest star on Twitch losing their sanity by marathon streaming their first playthrough or a lowkey lunatic beating the game by inputting commands with Morse code, people are still eating up Elden Ring with a spoon. The upcoming release of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree certainly hasn’t hurt matters.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the DLC to come out. The good news is that its time is coming sooner than many expected. A data mine suggests that the actual release time will see it come out a day early for many.

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC release date and time revealed

Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree’s exact release date and time is 10 am PT, 1 pm ET, and 7 pm CET on June 20.

Bandai Namco seemingly misrepresented when the Elden Ring DLC will come out. This time is currently programmed into Steam, which is reflected on the Elden Ring store page.

Elden Ring Dlc Release Date

Officially speaking, the release date is June 21 and for much of the eastern hemisphere, that will be the case. For gamers in the Philippines, Japan, and Australia, the DLC will come out in the wee hours of the morning on June 21. But for Americans and Canadians, time zones will see the DLC come out a day early.

That’s particularly beneficial for gamers in the western half of North America. With the pre-load set to open a day prior, gamers on the west coast of the United States or in British Columbia will have the game available for almost the entire game. Those on the east coast can look forward to it in the afternoon. Even those in Europe will be able to enjoy some time in the Lands Between before bed.

The exact time may vary based on the platform. Digital distribution Steam, PlayStation, and Xbox all run on their own schedules. Regardless, this will see players able to spend some time in the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC before the official release date.

Elden Ring DLC pre-load begins June 19

Players will be able to download the Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree DLC a day before its release date.

This has been officially confirmed and applies across all platforms. Players may have to free up a bit of hard drive space in order to actually download it, though.

The exact time isn’t known but players should keep an eye out for it. This will ensure they can get started on playing Shadow of the Erdtree as quickly as possible.
