Grand Theft Auto 6’s official reveal might be coming in the immediate future, with the first trailer coming out as early as next month.
Ever since Grand Theft Auto 5 came out over 10 years ago, fans have been eagerly anticipating any news of the next installment. While rumors of the game being revealed have popped up several times over the years, reports are indicating that the time is finally coming.
Jason Schreier of Bloomberg is reporting that the blockbuster title is about to be officially announced by Rockstar Games. He also makes two statements regarding the announcement of GTA 6 and if true, fans of the franchise have a lot to be excited about.
When is the reveal of GTA 6?
GTA 6 will reportedly be getting an official announcement this week, with the trailer coming out sometime in December.
The report comes following indications from Rockstar of a massive cash windfall in its next fiscal year without any indication as to what would cause this. This was indicated in both financial reports as well as by executives.
“We [Take-Two] remain confident that we are positioning our business for a significant inflection point in fiscal 2025, which we believe will include new record levels of operating performance,” Take-Two CEO and chairman Strauss Zelnick said.
Because so many fans have been eagerly anticipating the next installment in Rockstar’s acclaimed franchise, there has been a steady churn of rumors. However, most of them have been proven to be inaccurate over the 10 years since GTA 5’s release. The report lines up with leaks that came out earlier this year stating the same.
If the trailer does come out in December then it might be attached to the celebration of Rockstar’s 25th anniversary. No exact date is confirmed for the GTA 6 reveal or the release of the trailer.

When it comes to the story, the biggest is that the game will feature the first-ever female protagonist in a Rockstar game. Previous rumors have indicated that she will be coupled alongside her significant other for a Bonnie and Clyde experience.
There has also been plenty of news and reports circulating the internet about GTA 6. Reports and leaks have indicated that the game is coming out on Switch 2 and that there will be major changes to the driving and environment of the game. That’s just the tip of the iceberg, though.
Fans are desperately hoping Rockstar finally reveals GTA 6, though others are worried about the quality of the game. The studio has undergone a series of massive changes over the last 10 years with many of them coming recently. That may or may not have an impact on the game.
