Arcane may have ended, but Riot Games is showing off new Season 2-inspired League of Legends skins for Viktor, Warwick, Ekko, and Heimerdinger.
For both Seasons 1 and 2 of Arcane, Riot dropped specially designed skins to commemorate the champions featured in the show. Caitlyn got a new Season 2 look, for instance, as did Vi and Jayce. Though it may have aired the series finale, Arcane isn’t done in the public consciousness yet. New skins are coming to League of Legends that show champions in their final forms.
Some spoilers may be ahead for Arcane Season 2, for those who haven’t watched it yet. Here are the new Arcane skins fans can look forward to seeing in League of Legends.
Arcane Season 2 skins arrive for new champions
Four additional League of Legends champions are getting skins inspired by Arcane Season 2; Heimerdinger, Viktor, Warwick, and Ekko.
Both Heimerdinger and Warwick are getting their first Arcane skins, with Warwick’s looking distinctly more wolf-like than he did in the finale. This will be Ekko’s second skin from the show, following his Firelight cosmetic skin released in 2022. His new look reflects his recently acquired chronomancy with his Z-Drive, as well as his relationship to Jinx with her hood around his neck.
Additionally, Viktor will be getting a radical overhaul in December 2024. The first key addition is the Savior Viktor skin, depicting him as the benevolent herald seen in Arcane Act 2. His second look, however, is part of Riot’s complete reworking of his character design with a full VGU. It leans into the techno-organic Viktor that viewers see by the end of the show,
These are far from being the only Arcane Season 2 skins in League of Legends, though. Both Commander Caitlyn skins and the Brawler Vi skin are part of an event pass, while Shimmer Lab Singed comes as a reward for finishing the Jinx Fixes Everything minigame. Finally, the hooded look Jinx sported during the show is the first exalted skin in League of Legends’ Sanctum loot boxes.
Arcane Season 2 skins went live on the League PBE on November 26. Everyone else can expect to try them out on December 11, alongside the patch 14.24 update. This is likely the last major update for a while if past schedules are anything to go by, so LoL players should appreciate the content overload while they can.
