Ahead of the Arcane Season 2 premiere, Riot has given fans a sneak peek at the new Arcane skins soon to appear in League.
Riot has been taking advantage of the popularity of the hit Netflix show Arcane to introduce new champions and skin lines alike. Ambessa Medarda will be joining the League roster, for instance, and Jinx will be getting the first Exalted skin with an Arcane-inspired look. The latest announcement confirms that even more skins are coming to the game, this time themed around the new season.
Here are the new Arcane skins coming to League of Legends alongside the Season 2 release.
League champions set to get more Arcane Season 2 skins
Currently, Riot has revealed that Singed, Caitlyn, and Vi will be getting new skins in League of Legends.
Fan-favorite champions Vi and Caitlyn together will be getting three out of the four announced skins. Brawler Vi shows off her massive Hextech fists with theming that links to a scene revealed in the Arcane Season 2 leaks. Meanwhile, Caitlyn sports her Hextech rifle and Piltover enforcer uniform in both her regular and Prestige commander skins.
Additionally, Singed will be getting his 13th skin in League of Legends through the Arcane skinline. It highlights his work with Shimmer and the anti-humanitarian attitude that the scientist is well-known for.
More skin announcements are likely to come, although nothing is definite. For starters, many of the original Arcane skins were released over a few months rather than all at once.
Additionally, fans are still waiting on a potential Viktor VGU that was leaked over the summer. Viktor is one of the main characters of Arcane, but has yet to receive any in-game skins based on the show. A VGU would likely fill that niche while bringing the two versions of the character together.
No prices have been confirmed for the new Arcane skins in League yet. When Season 1 debuted, Riot also released the Arcane skins for Jinx, Jayce, and Caitlyn for free. Players could earn the skins and corresponding champions through in-game missions. Additionally, an August 2024 blog post indicated that a new Prestige Caitlyn skin would be available with event tokens. It’s possible that Riot could add another event into League of Legends, allowing players to get some of these skins for free.
Arcane Season 2 comes out on Netflix on November 9. For those who want to enhance their viewing experience, they should check out the Twitch drops available for streaming.
