Popular Counter-Strike streamer Lennart “TrilluXe” was has received a ban on Twitch, and fans are left wondering why and when he’ll be back.

TrilluXe is a popular German streamer who plays and streams CS2 most prominently. The streamer has a sizeable following on YouTube but streams live on Twitch most often. Unfortunately, Twitch has now banned his account.

This isn’t uncommon as Twitch is known to be strict in their rules and heavy with the “ban hammer.” Twitch has banned multiple steamers ranging from quqco to Supcaitlin for breaking these rules and fans are now wondering why TrilluXe was banned and when he’ll be back.

Why did Twitch ban TrilluXe?

Popular German streamer TrilluXe explained on X that he was banned for streaming Africa7 on his channel, which he claims occurred due to an installed Twitch extension.

TrilluXe created a post on X after he received several messages asking him to clarify why he was banned. The streamer explained that he was banned due to Africa7 being streamed on his Twitch channel. He further elaborated that he didn’t stream the copyrighted content voluntarily.

Africa7 is a copyrighted TV-radio channel.

The streamer claimed that he has multiple Twitch extensions installed, and that it was due to one of these extensions that Africa7 was accidentally streamed on his channel. TrilluXe also shared a screenshot of all the extensions he has downloaded. He advised his followers to not keep redundant extensions installed if they wished to avoid facing the issue he is now facing.

When will TrilluXe be back on Twitch?

Streamer TrilluXe made a second post on X claiming that Twitch has suspended his channel so no further issues occur, and that he hasn’t received a TOS strike, so he could be back to streaming sooner than later.

He further elaborated as of Sunday that he would wait for Twitch support to check the issue and help him get his channel back come Monday.

When other streamers have received copyright strikes, their channels were typically restored within a few days. Twitch is more lenient if the offenders have violated a rule for the first time. TrilluXe claims to have had a technical issue as the source of his violation, so his channel may well be reinstated once he successfully contacts Twitch support.
