How to see how much money you’ve spent in Zenless Zone Zero

HoYoverse goes through a great deal of effort to make it difficult for players to find out how much money they’re spending, but there are ways for Zenless Zone Zero players to figure it out.

Gacha games gate everything behind a clock, and the only way to work around it is ponying up cash. Characters are only available for a certain amount of time, there’s only so much XP to go around, and upgrade materials come through in a trickle. While players can freely catch Pokemon or grind for levels in Final Fantasy, most gacha games mete these out in a way that’s designed to encourage spending.

Zenless Zone Zero is no different. Whether it’s getting Investigator Logs or getting those precious Master Tapes for potential new agent pulls, players have to fork up lots of money to get everything. Here’s what’s actually on offer, and how to keep track of it.

Can you see how much you’ve spent in Zenless Zone Zero?

Zenless Zone Zero doesn’t offer any in-game method to track spending or any totals on how much money players have put into the game.

Many free-to-play games make it difficult to track how much money players are putting in. In most cases, everything can be earned without paying up; players just don’t get as much and don’t get it as quickly. Making things even muddier is that it’s standard practice to have several different currencies in the game, making it almost impossible to keep track of what items came from where.

It’s not impossible Because of that, players need to look outside the game in order to keep track of how much they’ve spent in Zenless Zone Zero. Unfortunately, the method varies based on the platform.

How to see how much money you’ve spent in Zenless Zone Zero on PS5, PC, and mobile

Players can see how much money they’ve spent in ZZZ using the digital storefront of their preferred platform.

Zenless Zone Zero is available on PlayStation 5, PC, and mobile devices. This is subdivided further, with the PC version available through its own launcher and the Epic Games Store, and the mobile version is available on Android and iOS devices. The digital storefronts offer a decent method for tracking spending. Those who give their money directly to miHoYo will find things a bit difficult, however. Here’s the method for tracking your spending in Zenless Zone Zero on every platform:

PlayStation 5

Players can see how much they’ve spent in Zenless Zone Zero using the PlayStation Store’s transaction history.

This can be found in the PlayStation Store’s “More” menu. Included is a Transaction History section that records all purchases made, including any microtransactions. This includes any purchases made in Zenless Zone Zero.

iOS and Android mobile devices

The Apple Store and Google Play Store both include transaction histories that allow players to track how much money they’re spending in Zenless Zone Zero.

This works similarly to the PlayStation Store. Both operating systems’ go-to digital storefronts have trackers that record purchases made. This allows players on these devices to freely remind themselves how much money they’ve put into the game through these storefronts.

Epic Games Store

The Epic Games Store’s website has a transaction history on its website that allows users to see what they’ve purchased through the platform.

Players can open the Epic Games Store application, click on their profile in the top right corner of the main menu, and then select “Account” from the drop-down menu. This will open the Epic Games webite in your default browser. On the hot bar on the left, click “Transactions.” This records all transactions made by players through the storefront, including Zenless Zone Zero, if any have been made.

PC through HoYoverse

Neither HoYoverse nor the Zenless Zone Zero website have any means of tracking spending. This means that players who are topping up through the Zenless Zero website will have to take it upon themselves to see how much money they’ve spent.

For past transactions, this requires looking through bank records or the history of any ecommerce service used for purchases. Going forward, those looking to closely track their spending are best served making a spreadsheet and recording transactions themselves.

The 24-Hour Shop has bundles for both cash and Monochrome.

What can you spend money on in Zenless Zone Zero?

Zenless Zone Zero players can purchase premium battle passes, resource bundles, and the Monochrome currency that can be used to create Master Tapes.

The game features a battle pass called the New Eridu City Fund that gives players daily, weekly, and seasonal challenges to complete. A weekly EXP limit forces players to actively play the game throughout the entire season in order to max out the battle pass. There is a free line of rewards, but the paid Growth Plan battle pass lets players quadruple their rewards and throws in an extra A-level W-Engine once players hit level 35.

Alongside this is Zenless Zone Zero’s 24-Hour Store. This offers bundles of resources for purchase using either Monochrome or cash, depending on the bundle. Bundles with time-gated resources like battery charge replenishment and universal resources like Master Components and Prototype Seals.

Monochrome is also converted into Polychrome, which is used to purchase Master Tapes and Encrypted Master Tapes. This makes it the primary means of purchasing pulls.
