Twitch streamer Kai Cenat and the rest of his AMP crew were kicked out of a New York City penthouse after staying there for a few days.
Kai Cenat has become one of the biggest streamers in the world. His follower count on Twitch is currently at over 14.2 million, with over 800,000 coming from the last 30 days alone. He was already one of the most-watched streamers on the platform, but hit new heights with his determined Elden Ring streams as well as his celebrity-filled sleepovers.
One of his recent streams had him and James “MrBeast” Donaldson lighting off hundreds of fireworks in a replica bedroom. Now fans are wondering if this was the same kind of chaotic behavior that had Cenat and his squad kicked out of a massive penthouse.
Kai Cenat theorizes why he was kicked out of a NYC penthouse
Kai Cenat believes he was kicked out of his penthouse because the owner wanted to sell it at an inflated value because of the attachment to Cenat.
Three days ago, Kai Cenat and the AMP squad moved into a penthouse in New York City. The day the crew moved in, Cenat uploaded a detailed tour of the luxury penthouse, showing off big windows with stunning views, a streaming setup, and paintings worth thousands of dollars. The penthouse reportedly cost AMP $30,000,000.
The penthouse reveal had fans excited for AMP and the future of their content but just three days later, Cenat told his livestream viewers that he was kicked out of the house. Cenat stated that he had been playing Chained Together with Darren “IShowSpeed” Watkins and then headed home to Miami. He walked into his room and got a knock on his door. One of his crew then told him that they were being thrown out.
The suddenness left fans skeptical. Some asked why the owners had kicked them out, accusing Cenat of being loud. An annoyed Cenat replied that they had “two floors to ourselves” and there was no “reasonable reason” they had to leave.
Later, he stated that he was swindled by the owner of the penthouse. Kai Cenat accused the owner of using him to promote the penthouse so he could sell at a higher price, piggybacking off Cenat’s celebrity.
Fans replied that they couldn’t really be mad at the owner for that smart tactic if true. Still, Cenat has told his fans that he is “literally homeless” and is currently wondering where he will move to next. He has said that he doesn’t want to move back to Atlanta, Georgia.
