The Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League will reportedly have a horde mode to go alongside its gameplay options.
Rocksteady had a closed alpha test for Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League from November 30 to December 3. These tests are held to check the game’s online infrastructure, and are not representative of a finished product. Hopefully.
NDAs have disallowed many of those who played the alpha from sharing their opinions online. Even so, that hasn’t stopped the leaks from coming out for the DC title, such as a potentially playable Killer Croc and various other characters. Recently, another major leak just dropped for the game, hinting at several game modes.
Does Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have horde mode?
A leaker claims that there will be a horde mode called “Raising Hell”. Miller Ross is a notable leaker in the gaming space, previously leaking info about Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League, as well as Marvel’s Avengers. He has also claimed to reveal several details about Suicide Squad since the game’s closed alpha.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League having a horde mode feels like a no-brainer, as is the case with any squad-based looter shooter. The mode is said to be playable either solo or with a full squad.
Does Suicide Squad have a PvP mode?
The leaker also claims a 4v4v4v4 PvPvE mode codenamed “QVK.”
The mode is said to be similar to Destiny 2’s Gambit mode, albeit with a few twists of its own. This new mode will reportedly center on players being pulled into rifts in the multiverse by an unknown villain, giving a story explanation for the battles.
To earn favor with the villain, teams of players must fight against hordes of enemies, as well as each other. It also claims that there will be no restriction on how many of each individual character can be in a team. That means if players want to be a shiver of King Sharks, they are free to do so.
Will The Suicide Squad have early access?
Players who purchased the Deluxe Edition will have access to the game 72 hours before everyone else.
Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League is set for a release in February 2023. There are a number of games based on notable comic book superheroes, but Suicide Squad is the only one with a definitive 2024 release window. Marvel’s next two projects, the PlayStation-exclusive Wolverine and probable Xbox-exclusive Blade, have yet to announce a release window while details remain scarce on Monolith Productions’ Wonder Woman.
While 2023 was packed with major video game releases, things aren’t cooling off in 2024. In February 2024 alone, Persona 3 Reload, Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth, and Homeworld 3 are all set for release. Suicide Squad has had a controversial build, so developer Rocksteady will need to deliver on the gameplay front in order to compete for fans’ attention.
