Shovel Knight brought the studio to the forefront, so it’s honoring it by releasing a complete and definitive edition of the beloved platformer. The industry is seeing a resurgence in platformers with titles like Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown and Deadcells finding success, and Shovel Knight fits perfectly among them.

What’s in the Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX?
Shovel Knight Shovel of Hope DX will introduce a bigger character roster with new abilities and online multiplayer.
In the new release, players will be able to select from a large roster of 20 characters, each with unique abilities. Shovel Knight are Shield Knight back, joined by the likes of the Enchantress. The game also offers online multiplayer, letting friends join in the battle and play together. The main adventure and challenges are available to tackle in multiplayer.
Fan-favorite features from previous game versions are also bundled into the changes included with Shovel Knight: Shovel of Hope DX. Custom Knight, Battle Ghost Arena, and Challenge Stages will launch with the new version. The game is also available in full stereoscopic 3D for increased immersion.
