Pokemon Scarlet and Violet have a load of legendaries for players to catch, far beyond just cover legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon.
Much like Pokemon X and Y, the number of legendary Pokemon in the base version of Scarlet and Violet is extremely limited. Unlike X and Y, the Nintendo Switch titles received DLC. This added a load of past-gen legendaries to the game, as well as some brand-new ones for players to catch.
Here are all the legendary Pokemon available in the games, and how to get them. Warning: Spoilers ahead for Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s story.
How to catch Pokemon Scarlet and Violet cover legendaries Koraidon and Miraidon
Players can catch Koraidon or Miraidon after completing the base game’s story.

Technically, players get two copies of their game’s cover legendary. After beating the android professor at the end of the story, players can add the Koraidon or Miraidon they ride to their party. Alongside this, the “evil” version of their legendary that they face at the very end of the story also appears in the wild. The Pokemon is at the bottom of Area Zero, on a ledge outside.
Unfortunately, Pokemon Scarlet and Violet hold to past conventions regarding catching cover legendaries. Koraidon is exclusively available in Pokemon Scarlet, while Miraidon is exclusively available in Violet. Players who want one from the other game will need to trade.
All Pokemon Scarlet and Violet: The Teal Mask legendary Pokemon
Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s The Teal Mask DLC added four new legendaries to the game. Players can catch all four in the same way, regardless of which version they own.

How to catch Ogerpon in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet
Players catch Ogerpon at the end of the Teal Mask DLC’s story. After heading to Kitakami, palling around with Kieran and Carmine, and discovering the truth behind the Loyal Three, the story concludes with a showdown against Ogerpon. Once Ogerpon is defeated, players can catch it with a 100% success rate.

How to catch Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and Okidogi
The Loyal Three is Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s legendary trio, and they can be caught after catching Ogerpon to complete The Teal Mask’s story. The three Pokemon will appear in different spots across Kitakami and can be caught normally. Okidogi and Munkidori are fairly straightforward catches, but Fezandipiti is beyond troublesome. Players may want to reserve their Master Ball for catching Fezandipiti to avoid a prolonged, frustrating battle.
Here are the locations of Munkidori, Fezandipiti, and Okidogi:

Though it doesn’t count as a legendary Pokemon, players have a one-time encounter with the extremely powerful Bloodmoon Ursaluna during The Teal Mask DLC. Its lack of legendary status is truly just in the label. Both its encounter method and power is stronger than almost any legendary.
All legendaries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet’s The Indigo Disk DLC
Players can catch the new legendary Pokemon Terapagos, as well as an assortment of legendaries from previous generations in The Indigo Disk DLC. Alongside these are two other faux legendary trios; the Paradox Pokemon based on the Swords of Justice and the Legendary Beasts.
Terapagos is available through The Indigo Disk’s story
Player’s catch Terapagos at the end of The Indigo Disk’s story after once again getting the better of Kieran. Though Kieran is statistically the strongest trainer in Pokemon history, the DLC is defined by Carmine and the player both “little brother’ing” him. This includes taking Ogerpon away from him after a dramatic Tera Raid-style final battle.

How to catch past-gen legendaries in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

How to catch the legendary Paradox Pokemon in Scarlet and Violet
Players get access to Iron Crown, Iron Leaves, Raging Bolt, and Gouging Fire by collecting 200 Pokemon from the Blueberry Academy Pokedex, then talking to Perrin in the academy. After the player catches Bloodmoon Ursaluna in Kitakami, Perrin moves to Blueberry Academy where she can be found near the entrance to the Terarium.
She challenges the player to flesh out their Pokedex and rewards them with photos of two new Pokemon. These Pokemon are in discreet locations across Area Zero, but the Pokemon stand out thanks to how the game’s draw distances work.
