Pokemon TCG Pocket: Best Paldean Wonders pull cards so far

Pokemon TCG Pocket's Paldean Wonders brings in Meowscarada ex and Gholdengo ex as the best pull cards of the new themed booster.

Paldean Wonders gives the spotlight to the best Paldean Pokemon pull cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket’s newest themed booster pack.

Themed booster packs in Pokemon TCG Pocket are a chance for the game to introduce new generations, types of Pokemon, and new highlights. Fantastical Parade, for instance, brought in stadium cards to competitive play. Extradimensional Beasts added Ultra Beasts, while Shining Revelry put shiny versions previous Pokemon on the map.

Now, Paldean Wonders is bringing new best pull cards based on Generation 9 of Pokemon for players to hunt down.

What is the best card to pull so far from Paldean Wonders?

With plenty of revealed cards, Paldean Wonders’ best pull card thus far may be Meowscarada ex.

Meowscarada first made its Pokemon TCG Pocket debut in Shining Revelry and was later included in the Deluxe Pack ex. Now as an ex card, it can deal 70 damage to a benched opponent for only one energy, and do 80 to the active opposing card for two.

As its pre-evolution Sprigatito is one of the mascot Pokemon for Paldean Wonders, fans should expect to get a two star art rare Meowscarada card to try and pull.

Paldean Wonders sets Meowscarada ex up to be one of the best pull cards from the booster.

The other ex card featured in the trailer is Gholdengo ex, another Shining Revelry card taken to an ex. The new card selects a random opposing Pokemon for every energy attached to Gholdengo ex and deals 40 damage.

While unlikely to be a meta-defining Pokemon like those in the best decks in Mega Rising, its low energy cost makes it easy to get out quickly.

Additional cards that may end up being pull cards in Paldean Wonders include the full art Maushold and the other two starter lines for Fuecoco and Quaxly.

With respect to trainer cards, Nemona stands out as a defense against mega and ex Pokemon. When played, Pawmot does an extra 80 damage to an ex Pokemon. Although Pawmot’s attack is not shown, this could be a major buff. Other trainers include Arven, who can draw a random tool or item card, and the stadium Mesagoza, which can pull a random Pokemon.

When does Paldean Wonders release?

Players can start trying to pull the best cards from Paldean Wonders as early as its release timing of February 25 at 5 pm EST.

Themed booster packs typically have around 70 main cards and an extra 30-40 full art and shiny cards. With only 15 main line cards revealed so far, Paldean Wonders has plenty of surprises to look forward to.

Other than just packs, players can anticipate a number of events hitting in mid to late March. So far, these include a Charcadet drop event and a Pawmi/Arven wonder pick event.

There are guaranteed to be more best pull cards from Paldean Wonders besides Meowscarada ex once the themed booster releases. Until then, players have a few weeks to finish earning hourglasses in the Fantastical Parade solo battles and buying out the shop to open as many packs as they can.
