Pokemon TCG Pocket: Rarest Paldean Wonders cards

Pokemon TCG Pocket's Paldean Wonders introduces several new rarest cards to pull.

Pokemon TCG Pocket is a game for competitive players and collectors alike, and Paldean Wonders has a new set of rarest cards to chase after.

With every new Pokemon TCG Pocket set comes new chase cards, desired for their competitiveness, their rarity, their art, or all three. Notably, the mobile game sometimes reuses card art from the physical TCG. While some players wish for new designs, others rejoice at getting to collect their favorite cards online.

Paldean Wonders has 131 cards between the main set and the art rares, and these are the rarest cards from the themed booster to search for.

What are the rarest cards in Paldean Wonders?

In Paldean Wonders, the rarest cards players can pull are the gold crown Baxcalibur and electric generator.

The total odds of pulling a gold crown card in Paldean Wonders is 0.040% for the fourth card and 0.160% for the fifth, or 0.020%/0.080% per card. These chances increase in a rare pack, rising up to 8.333% and 4.166% respectively.

Interestingly, the rarest gold crown cards in Paldean Wonders are slightly rarer than that in the similar sized pack Crimson Blaze.

A stage 2 card, Baxcalibur deals 90 damage for three water energy. It additionally has an ability that allows it to attach an extra energy to the water Pokemon in the active spot.

The electric generator card, meanwhile, is a coin-based item. On a heads, the player can attach an electric energy to a benched electric Pokemon. For decks that rely on cards that discard energy, like Pawmot, this could be a major boon.

For those daunted by the prospects of hitting an 0.040% jackpot, the odds of pulling the other rarest cards from Paldean Wonders are both lower and higher depending on perspective.

Other rare cards from Paldean Wonders

Outside of the rarest gold crown cards, there are plenty of other stand outs from Paldean Wonders to come.

With 15 two star art rare cards, Paldean Wonders offers a total pull chance of 0.500% as the fourth card and 2.000% as the fifth, or 62.500% for a rare pack.

However, for an individual card, these odds only come to 0.033%/.133% 4.166%. Players will technically have a better chance of pulling either gold crown card than specifically getting a two star Arven.

The following two star cards are included in the set:

  • Meowscarada ex

  • Armarouge ex

Players also have a 5.238% chance of pulling a six card pack, which is guaranteed to include a shiny card as the sixth. Two star shiny cards have total odds of 31.820% of appearing, while shiny one star cards are more common overall at 68.180%.

Rare shiny cards in Paldean Wonders consist of:

  • Sprigatito
  • Floragato
  • Meowscarada
  • Pawmi
  • Pawmo
  • Pawmot
  • Gimmighoul
  • Gholdengo
  • Tinkatink
  • Tinkatuff
  • Tinkaton ex (two star)
  • Entei ex
  • Suicune ex
  • Raikou ex

Fortunately, it’s easier than ever to get most rare cards in Pokemon TCG Pocket. With updated trading rules, players can trade all two star art rare and shiny cards from the most recent set. Still, for those chasing the gold crown rare Baxcalibur and electric generator, the only way to get them is to open as many packs as possible.
