Epic Games has reportedly been working on a Persona x Fortnite crossover for some time and leaks suggest the collaboration is finally inbound.
The battle royale Fortnite is a massively popular game, and that’s in no small part due to the added IPs. Epic Games has collaborated with multiple celebrities, games, movies, TV shows, and more. These established intellectual properties help make the battle royale even more popular. A crossover that has been discussed on-and-off for a long time but never released is Persona.
Several reports said the Persona crossover would be coming to Fortnite in Chapter 5, but it was never released. Many fans assumed that the collaboration was scrapped but data miners suggest that this isn’t the case. Now, some leaks suggest the Persona collaboration might come to Fortnite soon.
Persona x Fortnite collab reportedly coming during Chapter 6
Mined data suggests that Fortnite’s Persona collab will arrive during Chapter 6.
Shina, is a notable Fortnite data miner who has shared many things like the Disney IP store before Epic Games announced it. The leaker tweeted on the social platform X that a Persona collaboration will come to Fortnite in Chapter 6.
Fortnite Chapter 6 will be released on December 1, 2024 and will run throughout most of 2025. This gives a definitive window for when the collaboration will finally arrive, but there are multiple seasons in each chapter. Therefore, it is hard to pinpoint exactly when the Persona crossover will come to Fortnite.
It’s also unclear which Persona characters will be featured. All party members in Persona 3 and Persona 5 have firearms, which would make them the most logical fit.
Other collaborations planned for Fortnite Chapter 6
Hatsune Miku and Monsters Inc are among the other collabs that will reportedly happen during Chapter 6.
Epic Games tries to keep its upcoming collaborations a secret from fans but, data miners often leak them before their release. The forthcoming Fortnite Chapter 6 collaborations are no different and data miner Shina has listed two skins that will come, beside Persona.
The second collaboration that is suggested to come in the new Fortnite Chapter is Hatsune Miku, the 16-year-old virtual singer. Hatsune Miku might not have a human face visible to her fans but she is insanely popular with over 3 million followers on YouTube. So it is understandable why Epic wants to add her to Fortnite.
The last collaboration that was leaked was Monsters Inc., which is another collaboration that was leaked in the past but there was no release date in sight. It isn’t confirmed which skins will be added but fans might see Mike Wazowski and James Sullivan in Fortnite. Mike Wazowski is shorter than the other Fortnite skins, so fans may see Epic add a different version like it did with Peter Griffin.
