ZZZ: All Silver Soldier Anby ascension, boss materials to pre-farm

silversoldier anby art

Silver Soldier Anby is set to blow up the ZZZ meta and players can pre-farm some of the materials to level her up; but not all of them.

HoYoverse is taking Zenless Zone Zero in a new direction. After doing everything in its power to make anomaly agents the best DPS options in the game, and adding enough of them to make disorder teams the best strategy, things are going back to basics.

Evelyn is the limited S-rank agent in the second half of ZZZ patch 1.5, and she’ll offer players a high-tier attacker agent for the first time since the game’s launch. She’s not alone, though. Silver Soldier Anby will arrive in ZZZ patch 1.6. Players can have her hacking and slashing through all comers on day one by pre-farming for her.

All Silver Soldier Anby ascension materials

Silver Soldier Anby is an attacker agent, so players will need to round up the three types of Attack Certification Seals in order to max out her level.

While players have already met Anby, this Silver Soldier iteration of the character isn’t an A-rank stunner. She’s a bona fide S-rank attacker. That means that players will need a different set of ascension materials to get her to level 60. Here’s everything she needs:

  • Level 20: 4 Basic Attack Certification Seal and 24,000 dennies
  • Level 30: 12 Advanced Attack Certification Seal and 56,000 dennies
  • Level 40: 20 Advanced Attack Certification Seal and 120,000 dennies
  • Level 50: 10 Pioneer’s Certification Seal and 200,000 dennies
  • Level 60: 20 Pioneer’s Certification Seal and 400,000 dennies

There’s nothing unique about Anby’s ascension, despite being a unique character. Players can round up Attack Certification seals at the HIA by emptying out battery charge. As ever, every step of the path requires Dennies. These can be acquired by doing almost anything in the game, but there’s no amount of saving that players can do to avoid having an empty wallet.

Silver Soldier Anby skill materials

Silver Soldier Anby’s skills are raised using the various Shock Chips and Dennies.

While Silver Soldier Anby’s role was changed from stunner to attacker, she maintains her electric attribute. That means she’ll need the standard roundup of Shock Chips in order to have her skills raised. Here are all the materials she needs to raise a skill with no mindscapes unlocked:

  • Level 2: 2 Basic Shock Chips, 2,000 dennies
  • Level 3: 3 Basic Shock Chips, 3,000 dennies
  • Level 4: 2 Advanced Shock Chips and 6,000 dennies
  • Level 5: 3 Advanced Shock Chips and 9,000 dennies
  • Level 6: 4 Advanced Shock Chips and 12,000 dennies
  • Level 7: 6 Advanced Shock Chips and 18,000 dennies
  • Level 8: 5 Specialized Shock Chips and 45,000 dennies
  • Level 9: 8 Specialized Shock Chips and 67,500 dennies
  • Level 10: 10 Specialized Shock Chips and 90,000 dennies
  • Level 11: 12 Specialized Shock Chips and 112,500 dennies
  • Level 12: 15 Specialized Shock Chips, 1 Hamster Cage Pass, and 135,000 dennies

These materials are needed for each one of Silver Soldier Anby’s skills, so players will need to do this six times to max her out completely.

Due to the sheer number of Shock Chips needed to raise Silver Soldier Anby’s skills, players will need visit the HIA to get them. There’s a bit of relief, though. Players can get a few skill chips by having agents manage the video store each day. A-rank agents give two per day, while S-rank agents yield five.

Players, thankfully, can easily get an S-rank electric agent with Harumasa being given away for free ahead of Silver Soldier Anby’s release. Grace, Rina, and Yanagi can all work the video store in his place.

All Silver Soldier Anby core skill, boss materials

Silver Soldier Anby needs a combination of both old and new boss materials to max out her core skill.

While Astra Yao and Evelyn let players freely pre-farm everything they need, that’s not the case here. Thankfully, players can do some work in advance. Here’s the full breakdown:

  1. 5,000 Dennies
  2. 2 New boss material and 12,000 Dennies
  3. 4 New boss material and 28,000 Dennies
  4. 9 New boss material, 2 Living Drive, and 60,000 Dennies
  5. 15 New boss material, 3 Living Drive, and 100,000 Dennies
  6. 30 New boss material, 4 Living Drive, and 200,000 Dennies

Zenless Zone Zero version 1.6 will introduce a new Expert Challenge-level boss. This boss will yield the items players need to raise up Anby’s core skill.

The Notorious Hunt materials, thankfully, can be farmed in advance. Players will need nine Living Drives to fully optimize her. This can be done in three weeks, or players can spend 60 battery charge apiece to speed up the process. Alternatively, the Scott Outpost Logistics Shop also sells four Notorious Hunt boss materials each cycle.
