Zenless Zone Zero will welcome its newest A-rank unit when Pan Yinhu from the Yunkui Summit faction makes his big debut. His release aligns with ZZZ version 2.0, which promises a wealth of updates and changes to the popular gacha game. As a Physical defense agent, Pan Yinhu is poised to be a strong alternative to Caesar for interested players.
Pan Yinhu is scheduled for release on June 6, 2025, giving players ample time to pre-farm his materials. Below is a list of all the materials required for his promotion, skill, and core skill upgrades.
ZZZ Pan Yinhu promotion materials
Pan Yinhu is a defense-specialty agent who requires Defender Certification Seals and dennies among his promotion materials.
- Level 20: 4 Basic Defender Certification Seal and 24,000 dennies
- Level 30: 12 Advanced Defender Certification Seal and 56,000 dennies
- Level 40: 20 Advanced Defender Certification Seal and 120,000 dennies
- Level 50: 10 Defender Certification Seal and 200,000 dennies
- Level 60: 20 Defender Certification Seal and 400,000 dennies
Certification Seals and other materials required for character upgrades can be obtained through the HIA Club. Head to the Combat Simulation mode in the VR Device and select Defense Drill to earn Defender Certification Seals. Additionally, players can utilize the craft and dismantle function to convert materials and help to save their precious batteries while assembling the required materials.
Pan Yinhu materials for skill level-up
Players can begin pre-farming materials for Pan Yinhu by collecting various tiers of Physical Chips and the Hamster Cage Pass.
- Level 2: 2 Basic Physical Chips, 2,000 dennies
- Level 3: 3 Basic Physical Chips, 3,000 dennies
- Level 4: 2 Advanced Physical Chips and 6,000 dennies
- Level 5: 3 Advanced Physical Chips and 9,000 dennies
- Level 6: 4 Advanced Physical Chips and 12,000 dennies
- Level 7: 6 Advanced Physical Chips and 18,000 dennies
- Level 8: 5 Specialized Physical Chips and 45,000 dennies
- Level 9: 8 Specialized Physical Chips and 67,500 dennies
- Level 10: 10 Specialized Physical Chips and 90,000 dennies
- Level 11: 12 Specialized Physical Chips and 112,500 dennies
- Level 12: 15 Specialized Physical Chips, 1 Hamster Cage Pass, and 135,000 dennies
Agents aligned with the Physical element require Physical Chips to upgrade their skills. These can be obtained through the Combat Simulation mode in the VR Device, specifically by choosing the Rigidity Test.
Core skill materials for Pan Yinhu
The Core Skill materials for Pan Yinhu will include Higher Dimensional Data: Miasmic Elytron and Exuvia of Refinement. Conveniently, both Ju Fufu and Yi Xuan share the same material requirements, making it that much easier to pre-farm for Pan Yinhu if you’re planning to pull for all three characters.

- B: 2 Higher Dimensional Data: Miasmic Elytron and 12,000 dennies
- C: 4 Higher Dimensional Data: Miasmic Elytron and 28,000 dennies
- D: 9 Higher Dimensional Data: Miasmic Elytron, 2 Exuvia of Refinement, and 60,000 dennies
- E: 15 Higher Dimensional Data: Miasmic Elytron, 3 Exuvia of Refinement, and 100,000 dennies
- F: 30 Higher Dimensional Data: Murderous Obituary, 4 Exuvia of Refinement and 200,000 dennies
As of now, Miasmic Elytron and Exuvia of Refinement have not yet been released and will only become available with the launch of version 2.0 on June 6, 2025, which means that some material farming for Pan Yinhu will have to wait until the new version of the game goes live. In the meantime, it’s highly recommended that players stock up on Ether Batteries to be ready for farming once the new bosses do go live and invite players to challenge them.
