Zenless Zone Zero offers two basic events to increase Trust Levels; Trust Events and hangouts. Despite the name, Trust Upgrades have no relation to Trust levels, so players are free to approach them however they see fit.
Are these really just ordinary snacks? Answers
The hangout can be started by texting Ellen to meet up at the 141 Convenience Store. Once there, the hangout can be initiated. Here are the correct answers:

How to start the “Are There Multicolored Hollows in the Dreams of Proxies” Trust Event with Ellen in ZZZ
Players need to advance through Ellen’s Trust Events and raise their level at Random Play to start the “Are There Multicolored Hollows in the Dreams of Proxies” event.
Are There Multicolored Hollows in the Dreams of Proxies is a full commission. To unlock it, text Ellen about seeing a movie. For the event to start, players will need to upgrade the Random Play level to obtain the “Enter the Ether” movie. Once obtained, watch it with Ellen at the video store.
Unlike other trust events and hangouts, there aren’t really “right” answers here, as Ellen will be unlocked as a promoter at Random Play. You can replay the event from Ellen’s Partner Archive at the Workbench in Random Play to see what other options lead.
All Ellen Trust Level rewards in Zenless Zone Zero
Once Ellen’s Trust level is raised by giving correct answers during the Trust Events and hangouts, ZZZ players receive materials and Dennies. Ellen is worth keeping as a friend as she is one of the best ice characters in the game.
Every time the Trust level increases, players receive something for their effort.

If Ellen is in your squad, her high Affinity unlocks a special event in certain Hollow Zero areas. These events can lead to Mindscapes for Ellen in the current round. Maxing out the Trust level also unlocks Ellen’s background, displayed on the pause screen. Build the character right and she’ll take you to the endgame with her excellent DPS potential.
