Genshin Impact: All materials needed for Emilie’s ascension, talents

emilie genshin impact

Getting Emilie’s ascension and talent materials is the key to cranking up her strength early on in Genshin Impact and players can prepare before summoning her.

Genshin Impact‘s Dendro roster is growing with the addition of Emilie. Hailing from Fontaine, Emilie is a five-star Dendro polearm unit specializing in off-field damage dealing and support. The newcomer in the 4.8 patch is also the first character whose abilities are centered around exploiting the Burning reaction, which is a result of combining Pyro and Dendro elements.

Players interested in her kit and raring to use her in the overworld or Spiral Abyss can gear up and start collecting Emilie’s ascension and talent materials. Most of the Fontainian perfume merchant’s materials can be found across her home country. Luckily, they’re not too tricky to locate and gather, though it might take days, plenty of Resin, and millions of Mora to collect them all.

All ascension materials needed for Emilie in Genshin Impact

Emilie needs a wide variety of materials for her ascensions including Nagadus Emeralds, Fragments of a Golden Melody, Lakelight Lilies, and plenty of Mora.

Prior to hitting the Emilie’s maximum level, players must achieve six ascensions. Listed below are her ascension levels, and the materials required for each.

  • Level 20: 1 Nagadus Emerald Sliver, 3 Lakelight Lilies, 3 Meshing Gear, and 20,000 Mora
  • Level 40: 3 Nagadus Emerald Fragments, 2 Fragment of a Golden Melody, 10 Lakelight Lilies, 15 Meshing Gear, and 40,000 Mora
  • Level 50: 6 Nagadus Emerald Fragments, 4 Fragment of a Golden Melody, 20 Lakelight Lilies, 12 Mechanical Spur Gear, and 60,000 Mora
  • Level 60: 3 Nagadus Emerald Chunks, 8 Fragment of a Golden Melody, 30 Lakelight Lilies, 18 Mechanical Spur Gear, and 80,000 Mora
  • Level 70: 6 Nagadus Emerald Chunks, 12 Fragment of a Golden Melody, 45 Lakelight Lilies, 12 Artificed Dynamic Gear, and 100,000 Mora
  • Level 80: 3 Nagadus Emerald Gemstones, 20 Fragment of a Golden Melody, 60 Lakelight Lilies, 24 Artificed Dynamic Gear, and 120,000 Mora

Mora is Genshin Impact’s main currency and it’s used to purchase items, upgrade characters, and more. Players can accumulate hundreds of thousands, even millions of Mora by completing quests, defeating monsters, looting chests, and other methods. Players can get Mora quickly, but it drains just as quickly for hardcore collectors who want to build multiple characters.

Where to farm ascension materials for Emilie

The Nagadus Emerald items are a staple ascension material for Dendro characters. Players can obtain Nagadus Emeralds of various types by defeating Dendro Hypostases, Jadeplume Terrorshrooms, and the Guardian of Apep’s Oasis, which also costs resins. Fortunately, the Crafting Table is a good fallback option for players. It can either convert low-tier stones to rarer ones or convert gemstones from other elements with Dust of Azoth.

On the other hand, Meshing Gear, Mechanical Spur Gear and Artificed Dynamic Gear are drops obtained by taking down any enemies from the Clockwork Meka group. These can be found roaming around the Fontaine region, so keep an eye out.

Lastly, gathering Fragments of a Golden Melody tasks players with taking down the Statue of Marble and Brass, a normal boss residing in the Faded Castle of Fontaine. Players need to complete the World Quest “Canticles of Harmony Prelude – Petrichorror Dream” to unlock access to this boss. Once defeated, it drops a variety of rewards including the Fragment of a Golden Melody in exchange for 60 Resin.

All materials needed to max Emilie’s talents in Genshin Impact

Raising Emilie’s talent to level 109 requires players to save up many Artificed Dynamic Gears, Silken Feathers, Mechanical Spur Gears, and even more Mora.

This only applies to one talent. Players who want to upgrade all three talents will need to collect these items in these quantities three times over. It’s best to focus on leveling up Emilie’s elemental skill and burst since that’s where her main damage comes from.

Here are all the materials Emilie needs for every talent ascension level:

  • Level 2: 3 Teachings of Order, 6 Meshing Gear, and 12,500 Mora
  • Level 3: 2 Guide to Order, 3  Mechanical Spur Gear, and 17,500 Mora
  • Level 4: 4 Guide to Order, 4  Mechanical Spur Gear, and 25,000 Mora
  • Level 5: 6 Guide to Order, 6  Mechanical Spur Gear, and 30,000 Mora
  • Level 6: 9 Guide to Order, 9  Mechanical Spur Gear, and 37,500 Mora
  • Level 7:  4 Philosophies of Order, 4 Artificed Dynamic Gear, 1 Silken Feather, and 120,000 Mora
  • Level 8: 6 Philosophies of Order, 6 Artificed Dynamic Gear, 1 Silken Feather, and 260,000 Mora
  • Level 9: 12 Philosophies of Order, 9 Artificed Dynamic Gear, 2 Silken Feather, and 450,000 Mora
  • Level 10: 16 Philosophies of Order, 12 Artificed Dynamic Gear, 2 Silken Feather, 1 Crown of Insight, and 700,000 Mora

Where to farm talent materials for Emilie

Players looking to stockpile on the Order talent book series can simply head over to the Pale Forgotten Glory domain. This area is located northeast of Poisson beneath the ocean. Each run consumes 20 Resin and provides a varied number of talent books. It’s important to note that the Order series is only available on Wednesdays, Saturdays, and Sundays.

Meanwhile, Silken Feathera are obtainable by entering the Scattered Ruins domain and defeating the Knave Boss in Mont Esus East, Fontaine. This is a weekly challenge boss, meaning Silken Feathers are available once weekly in exchange for 30 or 60 Resin.

The final material needed to reach the highest talent level, Crown of Insight, is a rare item players can only obtain from the Offering Systems or during Limited Time Flagship Events.

To ease players’ farming sessions, it is recommended that they use the official Genshin Impact Interactive Map to track and pinpoint each material’s location.
