There’s no shortage of beautiful dresses in Infinity Nikki, but with so many locked behind the game’s gacha system, players need to learn how to use Tidal Guidance to get what they actually want.
Five-star outfits locked behind Infinity Nikki’s Resonance gacha don’t affect gameplay, but anyone playing the fashion-focused game is likely eager to collect a few of those dazzling gowns. Unfortunately, the Infinity Nikki gacha system is such that more than one Resonance or pull is needed to complete a single outfit. This can make the system frustrating, but not everything is out of the player’s hands.
Here’s how Infinity Nikki players can boost the drop rate of their preferred gacha dress with Tidal Guidance.
How to increase outfit drop rate in Infinity Nikki
By opting into Tidal Guidance, Infinity Nikki players will only get item drops for their preferred Distant Sea outfit.
Infinity Nikki currently has three banners, two of which are time-limited, while Distant Sea is permanent. It includes outfits such as Fairytale Swan, Blossoming Stars, Whispers of Waves, and Crystal Poems. By spending one Resonite Crystal, players get one randomized item and a guaranteed 5-star item after every 20th pull. That totals at least 150 lucky pulls to complete one outfit.
The banner also contains 4-star attires and various clothing parts, adding up to a total of 102 items in the loot pool, which makes the chances of getting preferred items relatively low. Not only is that exhausting, but it could also demotivate gacha fans from continuing. Thankfully, Tidal Guidance exists.
Here’s how to use Tidal Guidance to help mitigate the RNG of the gacha.
- Start Infinity Nikki and go to Resonance
- Click on the Distant Sea banner
- Find the tiny Tidal Guidance option on the bottom right of the screen and click on it
- Select your favorite Distant Sea outfit
- Click on Confirm to save your selection
From this point on, all five-star drops will be for the item selected in Tidal Guidance.
With Tidal Guidance, players are guaranteed items from locked outfit sets whenever they’re lucky enough to get a 5-star drop. This will continue to happen until a selected outfit is complete. It’s worth noting, though, that Tidal Guidance has limited attempts. If players give up on one outfit to swap for another, their previous attempt will not be refunded, so use them wisely.
