How to resist Babidi’s mind control in Vegeta’s Wicked Heart
To resist Babidi’s mind control in Vegeta’s Wicked Heart, players must quickly defeat Kid Trunks without taking much damage.
The cutscene that sees Babidi try to mind-control Vegeta plays out directly after the fight against Kid Trunks in the Majin Buu Arc section of Vegeta’s Saga. To get the option to resist Babidi’s mind control, players must defeat Kid Trunks quickly without taking over half a bar of damage in the Preparing for the World Tournament Episode Battle.
Fortunately, the match ends when Trunks still has two bars of health left. Additionally, Vegeta has various long-range projectile attacks players can take advantage of to cut down the enemy’s health from a distance.
Vegeta saying “That’s enough for today” indicates that the player managed to successfully meet the hidden requirement. Simply continue with the story until the cutscene where Babidi tries mind-controlling Vegeta plays out to get the option to “Shake off brainwashing.”

Vegeta resisting Babidi’s mind control stops Majin Buu from awakening, effectively concluding the entire saga.
Those who watched or read the source material will remember that Vegeta and Goku’s fight was how Babidi siphoned enough energy to awaken Majin Buu. This was largely thanks to Vegeta’s obsession with defeating Goku getting amplified by Babidi’s magic.
However, if Vegeta resists Babidi’s mind control in Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero, then he goes on to defeat Dabura before beating Babidi. With the danger of Majin Buu gone, Vegeta and Goku have one last fight on the World Tournament stage before Goku returns to the afterlife, content with knowing that the Earth is safe without him.
