Kai Cenat is usually known for his IRL antics and celebrity guests but the top Twitch streamer is taking on Bloodborne is set to cement himself as the top Soulsborne streamer with a Bloodborne marathon stream.
Cenat is firmly established as one of the biggest streamers on Twitch thanks to some massive recent broadcasts. Among those was his Elden Ring marathon livestream, where he challenged himself to stream the game. He then took on the DLC, even needing a therapist to keep him motivated to take down Promised Consort Radahn.
Despite other streamers saying the DLC was too hard to be fun, Cenat pushed through it. He told his fans that it was obviously difficult but he wanted to push himself to take on the challenge. Now, the recently homeless streamer has decided to take on another difficult game.
How to watch the Kai Cenat Bloodborne stream
Kai Cenat is set to stream a full playthrough of PlayStation 4 classic Bloodborne on Twitch. This livestream will begin on August 2 at 6 pm ET or 3 pm PT.
On X, Kai Cenat announced that he’d be streaming his Bloodborne journey and the stream won’t stop until he beats it. It’s estimated that a Bloodborne playthrough takes around 40 hours to beat, but it can run longer for completionists. That’s nowhere near as long as Cenat’s 156-hour Elden Ring stream but it’s hard to say for sure what antics will ensue that may prolong the marathon.
Bloodborne is regarded by many as FromSoftware’s best game. The company is best known for dark fantasy games including Dark Souls series and Elden Ring, Bloodborne takes their gameplay style and brings it to a gothic horror setting. The game has more fast-paced combat than Dark Souls, with dodge rolling replaced with dashes and shields swapped out for guns.
Cenat hints at Bloodborne PC port or remaster
Kai Cenat made reference to a possible PC port of Bloodborne or a remaster of the game.
The streamer referenced that fans were hoping he could be the catalyst for some form of follow-up. Bloodborne was infamously released by Sony in 2015, then seemingly forgotten. It has not received a PC port, next-gen upgrade patch, PS5 port, remaster, or sequel.
Fans joked that this was their only hope for a remaster. Others wished Cenat luck on finishing the game and said they hopd he enjoys it. There’s only a few days until Cenat takes on the challenge and it will be interesting to see what mayhem ensues, whether it’s special guests or insane death counts.
