MTG Arena has a number of currencies but none are more versatile than gold; here’s the most reliable way to earn gold fast.
Gold is one of the most important currencies in the game as it allows players to buy items ranging from packs to cosmetics. Unlike MTG Arena’s gems, gold is considered the free-to-play currency as players can gain it just by playing the game. However, there are better ways to earn the most amount of gold in a day than just mindlessly grinding the game. Players just have to be smart about it.
With all of that being said, how does a player maximize the gold they earn each day? The answer lies in the game’s daily quests.
How to earn gold quickly in MTG Arena
The best way to maximize the gold players earn in MTG Arena is to re-roll their daily quest and hope for a quest that gives 750 gold.
Unfortunately, the best way for players to maximize the daily gold they earn requires a little bit of luck. MTG Arena gives players a daily quest that rewards them with either 500 gold or 750 gold upon completion. The main problem is that players don’t necessarily know which one they’re going to get.
To make things easier, players also have a chance to re-roll one quest in their quest bar. A player is only allowed to re-roll once per day and the best way to use this re-roll chance is to use it on quests that only give 500 gold in hopes that it turns into one that offers 750.
Aside from MTG Arena‘s daily quests, players can also earn gold from daily wins. The first four wins in a day will give the player 550 gold and if the player fully completes the daily wins, they will earn 750 gold. However, it’s advised to simply stop at four wins if there is a time constraint involved as the wins past four don’t give a lot of gold.
Another one players should look out for is the Mastery Pass. MTG Arena’s mastery pass also gives players a certain amount of gold, in addition to some free packs. Just take note that this requires players to buy the pass with gems and reach that tier, which means playing a lot of Magic.
This is only worth it if they’re really in a rush for gold or just truly love the game.
