The Lego Group has finally released its first line-up of official Fortnite Lego sets and to the surprise of nobody, they’re rather expensive.
While Fortnite is known for its regular churn of new skins, Lego is prolific in penning partnerships as well. Whether it’s teaming with 2K Games for a new soccer franchise or Sony to create Lego Horizon Adventures, Lego is everywhere.
Given the overwhelming popularity of Fortnite and the standing Lego Fortnite game mode, one would’ve thought official Lego products would have been made much sooner. Don’t forget, Lego and Epic Games announced a formal partnership in 2022 to create their own “family-friendly digital experience.” This eventually led to the release of the Lego Fortnite survival game in December 2023.
It wasn’t until this past summer when Lego unveiled a proper lineup of physical Lego sets for kids and collectors to snap up. These sets are now available for purchase and include the Battle Bus, Peely Bone, Supply Llama, and Durr Burger.
How much do the 2024 Fortnite Lego sets cost?
The Fortnite Lego sets range in price from $15 to $100.
The first Fortnite Lego set, the Battle Bus, costs $99.99. It’s made up of 954 pieces and comes with nine minifigures of various recognizable Fortnite characters, including Jonesy and Peely.
Speaking of Peely, he gets his own Peely Bone set, made up of 1,414 pieces. This larger version of the character has him wielding a pickaxe and gun, but its most defining characteristic is that half of his skin has been removed, showing off his skeleton. It costs just as much as the Battle Bus at $99.99.
The 691-piece Supply Llama set is noticeably cheaper, costing $39.99. Aside from the llama itself, it comes with additional items that can be stored inside of it and later emptied out. Said items can no doubt be used with minifigures, but the llama doesn’t come with any extra characters. The cheapest set of the bunch is the Durr Burger, which has only 193 pieces and is priced at $14.99.
All four sets are currently available for purchase on the official Lego website. While these are the only ones announced, it’s very likely more sets will go up for sale in the future.
The partnership between Epic Games and Lego doesn’t look like it’s going to end any time soon. Plus, there are plenty more characters, items, and locations from Fortnite that have the potential to be adapted into Lego form. A Lego Tilted Towers would no doubt prove very popular, although such a set would be by no means cheap.
