Nod-Krai’s moon goddess Columbina is descending upon Genshin Impact in version 6.3, and the right build and team are all she needs to carry the game.
Three years since her first appearance, the wait ends here. Columbina is finally entering the game in Genshin Impact version 6.3, also known as Luna IV. Considered a massive upgrade to Lunar teams, Columbina is a five-star Hydro sub-DPS and support, much like every Archon in the game.
With Columbina in the game, players can expect huge numbers on the screen. But before that, she needs the best build and team to reach her full potential. Find out the best Genshin Impact Columbina build.
What’s the best Genshin Impact Columbina artifacts set
Columbina’s best artifact sets are Silken Moon’s Serenade, Aubade of Morningstar and Moon, and Tenacity of Millelith.

4-piece Silken Moon’s Serenade
Silken Moon’s Serenade is Columbina’s best-in-slot artifact set. To maintain consistent Elemental Burst uptime, she needs at least 200% Energy Recharge, making Silken Moon’s Serenade a strong option thanks to its 20% Energy Recharge bonus. On top of that, the set boosts the entire party’s Elemental Mastery and Lunar reaction damage.
Columbina gains the most value from this set by activating Ascendant Gleam, which requires at least two Nod-Krai characters on the team.
4-piece Aubade of Morningstar and Moon
For transformative reaction–based teams, damage is heavily tied to Elemental Mastery, a stat this artifact set provides. The rest of the team gains up to a 60% increase in Lunar Reaction damage.
The main caveat is that Columbina must remain off-field most of the time to avoid deactivating the buff. Players looking to use an on-field Columbina playstyle, such as Lunar Bloom, will be better off choosing a different set.
4-piece Tenacity of Millelith
In certain cases, players can opt to equip the Tenacity of Millelith set for the best Genshin Impact Columbina build. Columbina mainly scales off HP, and if players can’t get her HP up to 35,000 through weapon and artifact stats, this set can help.
Additionally, Tenacity of Millelith boosts Attack, which can be useful for attack-scaling units such as Flins, Navia, and Ineffa.
Genshin Impact Columbina build – Best Weapons for Columbina
Columbina’s best weapons are Nocturne’s Curtain Call, Tome of Eternal Tome, Favonius Codex, Prototype Amber, and Sacrificial Jade.

Nocturne’s Curtain Call (5-star)
A character’s signature weapon is almost always going to be their best weapon. Nocturne’s Curtain Call has almost everything Columbina needs: max HP, Energy, Crit Damage, and it can trigger these buffs even when she’s not the active character.
The damage numbers will show players that this is the best pick for all playstyles, whether she’s an on-field DPS or an off-field support.
Favonius Codex (5-star)
Favonius Codex is one of the top free-to-play catalysts for Columbina. She requires around 200 Energy Recharge to maintain high uptime on her burst, making Favonius Codex an ideal choice. The weapon increases Energy Recharge by 10% and generates energy particles for her ultimate.
While choosing ER over offensive stats can slightly reduce her damage, this can be mitigated with strong artifact rolls. What’s more, a high Crit Rate is essential to maximize her potential with this weapon.
Prototype Amber (5-star)
For teams that lack a shielder or healer, free-to-play players can also equip this weapon on Columbina. Prototype Amber is an HP-based catalyst that provides a decent amount of Energy Recharge. In addition, Prototype Amber grants a steady stream of party-wide healing over time.
Sacrificial jade (5-star)
For players who previously purchased the Battle Pass and picked Sacrificial Jade, it won’t go to waste on Columbina. Sacrificial Jade offers a solid boost to Crit Rate, HP, and Elemental Mastery.
The only downside is that Columbina is restricted to off-field play, as staying on-field for more than 10 seconds will deactivate all of the weapon’s effects.
All the best Genshin Impact Columbina teams
Columbina fits into many of the best team compositions, serving as a DPS that can deal damage both on- and off-field, as well as a support that boosts various types of damage. But players will most likely pair her with units that revolve around Lunar and transformative reactions.
Premium Nod-Krai Lunarcharged team – Ineffa, Columbina, Sucrose and Flins
Starting off with Columbina’s premium teams: the Nod-Krai Lunarcharged comp. Flins serves as an on-field Electro DPS whose damage mainly comes from the Lunarcharged effect of his burst. Pair him with Ineffa, an off-field sub-DPS, shielder, and buffer. Columbina can replace Aino, providing the team with off-field Hydro aura, damage application, and a Lunar Reaction damage buff.
Finally, slot in Sucrose for grouping, Elemental Mastery buffs, and Elemental Resistance shred with the Viridescent Venerer set.
Nod-Krai Lunar-bloom team – Nefer, Lauma, Columbina and flex
On the flip side, Columbina can team up with Lauma, Nefer, and Sucrose in a Lunar-Bloom setup. Similar to how Flins pairs with Ineffa, Nefer and Lauma work well both on-field and off-field, giving players the highest combined damage output. To activate Lunar-Bloom, a Hydro unit is required, which is where Columbina comes into play. In addition to her Hydro application, personal damage, and Lunar-Bloom damage amplification, Columbina’s Lunar Domain will also spawn special Moonridge Dews for extra damage.
The final slot is flexible and can be filled by units such as Nahida, Sucrose, Kokomi or Kuki Shinobu.
F2P Lunar-charged or Taser team – Sucrose/Iffa, Columbina, Ororon and Fischl
Thanks to Columbina’s passive,Moonsign Benediction: Moonlight, Lent Unto You, players can activate Lunar reactions without needing Ineffa, Flins, Nefer, or Lauma in the team. This allows Columbina to comfortably slot into one of the best F2P Taser teams, which includes Sucrose/Ifa, Ororon, and Fischl.
Bear in mind that activating Ascendant Gleam may require players to replace Fischl with Ineffa instead.
